Fried Pomfret in Black Pepper Sauce

  • Pomfret 2 pcs

  • shredded ginger 2 tbsp.

  • shredded spring onion 1 tbsp


  • salt pinch

  • wine 1 tsp.

  • black pepper pinch


  • black pepper sauce 3 tbsp.

  • wine 1 tbsp.

  • sugar 1/2 tsp.

  • water 2 tbsp.


  1. Scale pomfret and wipe dry. Sprinkle with seasonings. Marinade for 20 minutes. Then fry with some oil until golden brown. Take out.

  2. Heat wok. Add oil. Put in fish and shallow fry until both sides turn golden brown. Dish up.

  3. Saute shredded ginger and spring onion. Add in sauce and bring to boil. Spread over pomfret and serve.
