Steamed Fresh Water Grouper

Ingredients

  • fresh water grouper 1 pc

  • salt 1/2 tsp

  • shredded ginger 3 slices

  • spring onion 2 stalks

Seasonings

  • water 4 tbsp

  • light soya 1 tsp dark soya 1 tsp

  • sugar 1/2 tsp.

Method

  1. scale and remove entrials from grouper, wash and wipe dry, marinate with salt and leave aside for 10 minutes.

  2. Shred ginger and spring onion.

  3. Place the grouper on a plate, steam for 8 minutes, drain away juice.

  4. Heat 2 tablespoon of oil, saute ginger and spring onion, add sauce and bring to boil, pour over steamed grouper, serve.
