Curry Beef Shrank

Ingredients

  • 10 oz beef shank

  • 2 pc carrots

  • 2 pcs potatoes

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 2 pcs shallot

Seasonings

  • pinch of pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon

  • curry powder

  • 1 teaspoon oil

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 can coconut milk- small

Method

  1. Rinse the beef thoroughly and cut into pieces (about 2 x 2 in), marinate with salt and pepper, set aside.

  2. Dice garlic and shallot. Cut the carrots and potatoes into medium size.

  3. Heat up oil pan (Wok), fry garlic and shallot until color turn golden brown, add in beef shank and curry powder, fry together for 2-3 min. 

  4. Add water (1 litre), let it boil for 10 min and turn to slow fire for 20 minutes.

  5. Add in carrots and potatoes, cook until tender (approx 15 min). 

  6. Add coconut milk and let it boil for 5 munutes. Ready to serve.
