Chicken With Chestnuts

Ingredients

  • chicken 1/2 pcs

  • chestnuts 20 pcs

  • sliced ginger 3 slices

Marinade

  • wine 1/2 tbsp

  • light soy 1/2 tsp

  • sugar 1/2 tsp

  • cornflour 1/2 tsp

Seasonings

  • water 3 cups

  • light soy 1 tbsp

  • sugar pinch

  • pepper pinch

  • sesame oil dash

Method

  1. Cut chicken into pieces, mix well with marinade and marinate for a while.

  2. Boil chestunts for 6 minutes, then peel the shell and skin.

  3. Saute ginger slices with 2 tablespoons oil, take them out, dump chicken pieces, chestnuts and seasoning in. Bring to boil with medium heat until sauce thicken. Dish up and serve.
