沙嗲灼肥牛肉
Ingredients
900g sirloin beef slices
A little amount of green vegetable
- 3 Tbsp satay sauce
Seasoning
40g dried shrimps
40g sesame seeds
110g peanuts
3 tsp fish sauce
6 cloves garlic
1 dried sole
1 large bowl broth
Method
Wash the dried shrimps; crush the garlic; fry the peanuts, sesame seeds, dried sole and dried shrimps in a dry, hot wok until fragrant, then remove. Return the peanuts into the dry wok and stir-fry over low heat until fragrant and remove the skin, then return to the wok and stir-fry with the sesame seeds once again. Deep-fry the minced garlic.
Crush the above ingredients or ground them in a blender.
Bring the large bowl of broth to a boil, add the satay sauce and the fish sauce, followed by the crushed mixture. When the broth boils, season to taste.
Defrost some sirloin beef slices and prepare some vegetables, cook them in the broth and serve.
Practical Tips
- A little evaporated milk can enhance the texture of the broth and make it silky.
