160g soya bean
80g Chinese yam
80g lotus seed
adequate rock sugar
- Nourish the skin, strengthen the spleen and overall body functions.
Soak the soya beans, lotus seeds and Chinese yam respectively. Soya beans should be soaked for 3 hours. Remove the core of the lotus seeds.
Blend the soya beans with 8 times as much water in a food blender. Pour it in a muslin to extract the soya bean milk.
Cook the lotus seeds and the Chinese yam until softened. When cooled, puree them in the blender.
Heat and melt the rock sugar with a little water, then add in the soya bean milk and the puree. Cook over low heat until it boils, season to taste and thicken with cornflour solution.
