Ostrich Meat With Light Soya Sauce

Ingredients

  • 900g Frozen Ostrich Meat

  • 450g Light Soya Sauce

  • 8 cloves of Garlic

  • 10 pieces Bay Leaves (Optional)

Seasoning:

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 2 tablespoons Hua Diao (Shaoxing wine)

  • 3 bowls stock or water

Healing Effect

  • Good source of protein and nourishes the skin and muscle.

Method

  1. Defrost ostrich meat. Wash and cut into pieces.

  2. Add in dash of oil in the preheated wok. Saute the mashed garlic until golden brown. Add sugar in the stock. Bring to the boil. Put in the garlic and bay leaves. Bring to the boil again. Turn to low heat. Put in the ostrich meat and soak for half an hour.

  3. Turn to high heat. Remove the bubbles on the surface of the stock. Turn to low heat. Cook for another one hour. Pour in Hua Diao and light soya sauce.

  4. Cook for 10 minutes. Season to taste
