Steam Duck With Hua Diao & Plums

Ingredients

  • 1 Duck

  • 2 cups Hua Diao (Shaoxing wine)

  • 8 Preserved Plums

Seasoning:

  • 1 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 tablespoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon Resurrectionlily powder

Healing Effect

  • Stimulates the appetite and replenishes the body.

Method

  1. Wash the duck clean dry with dry tower.

  2. Make the duck sauce. Wipe by using half amount of seasoning and 4 preserved plums. Pour in the duck stomach and marinate for one hour.

  3. Mix the remaining seasoning, 4 preserved plums and 2 cups of Hua Diao well. Pour over the duck body. Put the duck in bamboo steamer. Steam for one hour.

  4. Serve with the duck sauce.
