Ingredients

  • mackerel steak 3 pcs

  • tomatoes 4 pcs

  • ginger 3 slices

  • diced spring onion 1 stalk

Seasonings

  • tomato ketchup 2 tbsp.

  • light soy 2 tsp.

  • sugar 1/2 tsp.

  • cornflour 1/2 tsp.

  • sesame oil dash

  • water 1/2 cup

Method

  1. Rinse the tomatoes and cut into pieces.

  2. Rinse mackerel steak and wipe dry. Sprinkle with fine table salt and pepper. Then fry with some oil until golden brown. Take out.

  3. Heat 2 tbsp oil and saute ginger slices, spring onion and tomatoes. Add in sauce and bring to boil. Put in mackerel steak. Braise until ingredients are done. Dish up and serve.
